About two weeks ago, I read an article about how crops were rotting in fields because the migrant workers either were deported or just left out of fear of deportation.
Now today I read that Trump wants to put up $12 billion to farmers who are hurt by the trade war.
LET'S EXPLORE THE FIRST ONE.
CROPS ROTTING IN FIELDS...
The farmers need help harvesting crops. There are a lot of unemployed people out there.
1. Able-bodied Welfare Recipients
2. Those Collecting Unemployment
3. Unemployed Veterans
4. Unemployed ex-convicts
4. Prisoners of non-violent crimes
Why can't Trump pick up the slack--offer these people a decent wage--to go pick these crops?
It seems if he's willing to pay $12 billion dollars to farmers, why not put some of that money to good use by creating jobs?
I think that's what a REAL president would do.
NOW THE SECOND ONE:
$12 bILLION TO FARMERS TO WHO ARE HURT BY THE TRADE WAR...
Why can't the government buy up the crops, and distribute them to the food banks? The farmers want to sell their crops--not take a handout.
I THINK A REAL PRESIDENT WOULD THINK OF WHAT MIGHT BENEFIT THE PEOPLE RAHTER THAN PLACE A MONETARY VALUE ON THE SITUATION.
Not to mention, he is only offering this to keep their support. It's much easier to toss them a bone than to set a table.
This is what I think...
ANY THOUGHTS?
